Sounds real good. I wonder at what point does the packer explore options to import beef for less?


Where you been? The whole Paraguay deal is that imported cheap beef that gets mixed with all the excess fat on our fed cattle.

I keep wondering why we feed our cows so fat. It seems to me that we are doing the packer a huge favor by giving them the fat to mix with lean imported beef. Would our industry (the cattle side not the packer) not be better off if we killed 1250-1300 animals?
