South Eastern VA | So I live in a neighborhood with non-farmers, only a couple of them even know that I farm.
So the very nice lady down the street hates me. I don’t know why, I smile when I call her a dirty hippie to her face. Lol
So anyway, I was talking to her husband and we get along very well. I spotted a bag in his shed and took a pic of the label for all your viewing enjoyment.
I tried to block out the company name, it’s just a “weed and Feed” product. In case you can’t read the pic, it is a nitrogen fertilizer WITH ATRAZINE in it!!!!
He has 4 bags for his lawn he is spreading at one time. His yard is 80 feet wide by about 120 feet deep so y’all do the math on that one.
This is the kinda chit that makes me mad as hell, because it’s “Us Farmers that are poisoning the planet” she loves to tell me.
