Run it for a few days before you test. That way you are drawing from the part of the aquifer that the water is actually coming from.

Sometimes if they've just been sitting it can fill from shallow aquifer that are different. All depends on the geology of what the well is drilled in.

Lot of the 2000' deep wells around here, that have water at 30'... so there's a lot of different possibilities.
