Subject: RE: Humanly raised?

south dakota
Humane is not clipping baby pigs teeth resulting in them biting the sow and causing her to jump up which can result in crushed pigs

Humane is not cutting a pigs tail resulting later on in tail bitting which then can lead to infection in the bit pig and a cull pig.

Humane is having to use a scalpel to castrate a pig instead of a side clipper. The scalpel method results in more blood a longer healing time and more abscess.

What is claimed humane is not often the most humane treatment of the animal.
