Callao Missouri | I keep coming back to corn silage. Everything else seems like a good idea but its not practical to implement. Wheat is ready when you should be planting beans. Ss is ready twice. Corn is cheap, easy to raise and harvest time is slow time of year. It doesn't interfere with other farming operations. High quality high productivity feed. Myself and 3 other customers did some ss this past year. Its not the answer.
And if for some reason you're plans change you can shell and sell the corn. Wheat and ss your stuck with.
