Go ahead.. make Donald Trumps day.

probably will cost Biden the election.

Ummm you need to keep up. The red team is in on carbon pipelines. Seems money does the talking anymore. It’s why Farm Journal received 40 million and my alma matter received 80 million from govt to stay in front of situations like this. The deficit reduction act has done a lot to keep our country running progressively. The money train is also why we have two old geezers running for President. 77 and 81 respectively. Republicans have reinvented conservatism to the point that Ronald Reagan rolled over in his grave quite a while ago. True conservatism is sadly dead.

agreed.

I’m looking for the exit ramp on this ESG.. climate change crap.

Plants do not grow without Carbon.. it’s probably.. if we’re honest.. the single biggest reason for trendline yields.. everyone says genetics.. but wheat is going up just like Corn.. and we’re not doing anything too special but planting bin run there..

Why does Iowa’s and Illinois’s black top soil do so much better than Oklahoma and Kansas blow sand?  Carbon.

Why does a pivot in our blows sand do so much better.. if you go back to dryland.. then it’s corners if you stop irrigating it?  Carbon.. from the Corn.. which has ever so slightly increased the organic matter.. and the biome and everything else.

Before the ethanol boom.. we laughed at 200 bu whole county yields.. now..the Outlook just printed a national yield average of 181..3 bu higher than last years RECORD.. and the trade believes it.

Corn yields were around 100 bu national average yields in 1980.. when the US ethanol data more or less begins.. in 44 years.. we’ve almost doubled them.

I spent big $$$ to attend a conference in KC a few weeks back to listen to the promise of SAF.. etc.. ESG?!?  That’s all this is?  And the inflation (climate change) reduction act?!?

i don’t believe in either one.

Crude Oils price.. around $30/bbls in 1981.. is going up.. the US is near peak Shale.. unless we take Crude to $200.. or some combination.

We don’t need climate change.. nor the Inflation Reduction Act to promote alternatives like Ethanol.

in most places cash Corn has a $4 handle or just below it.  We have enough corn even with a couple new plants coming (back) online.  I was gonna do an ethanol thread anyway.. since we get an update this week.

why don’t we just do free markets.. and sack all the bureaucrats?  with their stupid climate change agendas?

edit add2:  we don’t need bureaucrats and policy because of economics.. we need it to access the monopoly oil companies which control the liquid fuels supplies..  Look at KC.  E15 is cheaper.. and you still can’t find it?

why?
