Doing a OPUS survey to get your base lined up with the national grid is really nice when you have multiple bases that you want to use without seeing a position shift. It also works well if you need to move a base, as long as the base was surveyed in the same way both times.

In your situation, it isn't the ideal solution because we don't know how the old 2500 base was surveyed in (if it was at all).

If you know your boundaries don't line up, then you should be able to measure how far off they are, both east-west, and north-south. If you can determine that your boundaries are off X inches west and Y inches north, then we can calculate how many degrees that is and add/subtract it to current fixed location of the base. This will essentially shift your current location to line up with the old boundaries.

The calculations are complicated, but I have a spreadsheet for that. If you tell me your current base location and how many inches it needs to be shifted each way, I'll do the math for you.
