Yes. Haven't done it with our current White planter, but our old planter had JD 7000 units and I'd lift up the row cleaners all the way and plant into 6ft tall rye (soybeans). Furrow Cruiser closing wheels worked great. I was dropping the seed about 2in deep and it was going where I wanted it to go with virtually no hair pinning in the trench.
