...on a planter with a leading edge coulter...and good closing discs I can't see using row cleaners if your rye was sprayed 7 days before you plant. You only need to open up a good slot, and get it shut to get everything done you need for your corn to emerge. I'm particularly talking about the 1200 series Case planters...and the newer 2000 series. I know there are a few others out there...but I'm not sure of the disc angle on some of those.
