Missaukee Mi
The only reason scrapers would be a valid option is we have a used drive unit that we took out of another barn. There are only 70-80 jerseys in this barn. We are familiar with scraper maintenance as that's how we scrape our main dairy barn. Currently we only scrape once a day but would like to do more. It is a robot barn so the cows are never switched off.
We realize that may be the case but with the age of the barn we aren't sure we would want to put a permanent investment like a large cement pit in. We wanted to see if there was any options of turning the labor of 30 mins to an hr of scraping and switching cows into even an hour or two a week and still get the barn scraped more.
