That is a legitimate point of concern, and I would not ignore those no trespassing signs.  

Do you know who the owners are?  or do you not even know that information?

Are these barns hooked up with an integrator?  I presume they are.  Can you call the integrator, and let them know what you are wanting?  If you can provide them specific addresses/locations of specific operations, maybe they can help make connections?  Just a thought.

Our county now has a website where you can look on a map to find specific landowners.  If you don't know who the landowners are, and if your county has that kind of information online, maybe that is a starting point.

Beyond that, maybe send a letter to the owner, and follow up with a phone call might be the way to go.
