Opposite I guess-make'm pay market price + just as well learn them the hard way-if they do not like the price they can find another purchase
as a older feeder-I'm starting to see why my Dad was so hard on me


For 2 granddaughters just starting out? And grandpa will get 1000x return when he sees those girls put their hearts and souls into taking care of them and showing them at the fair. Beaming with pride when grandpa and grandma tells a few close friends on the bleachers at the fair that the “girls picked the calves out themselves.”

And, even a stoic grandpa will shed a tear in private when those same grandkids “experience” the full circle of a beef project that ultimately ends up in tears on sale day as they lead them on a truck for the last time.

Just cause grandpa doesn’t get market price on a few calves does NOT negate the future returns of his “investment”.
