Us grandpa'sll do a lot for our grandkids, pay the price he asked there was a reason he asked that price, probably cause grandma told him :)
IDK if grandma told him, but HERE grandma would be saying something if she thought the price was too high. Happy wife, happy life applies. Lucky he even offered a price, just pay it and shut up, would be my suggestion.

FWIW, my grandkids just sign an IOU, for what they think is 10-20% below market value, the IOU gets lost somehow. The lesson's the GK learn is PRICELESS.
