EC SD | I am not closely following any of these stocks except DVN.
DVN was a great stock to own when oil and gas were rising a couple of years ago. It has pulled back a lot from their peak now with falling oil and the absolute wipeout in the nat gas market since Biden halted new applications for LNG export. Nonetheless, it is a highly profitable company and this crash in nat gas will rebound at some point. If war spreads and/or sanctions are actually enforced, oil will be back to $100 and DVN will rally mightily.
I would urge caution on HOOD - no profits and a lot of headwinds. That is a stock that may be on its way to zero and their earnings report is next week... I would buy puts if you like to do that...
I would also avoid ZM as Microsoft has equivalent capabilities in Teams and they bundle price into the enterprise "deal". This makes a near impossible path for ZM to rally, and more likely to be another company that disappears altogether. | |
