Do you have any bushels hedged? How big of APH hit for the next 10 years are you willing to take? Decent carry(better than corn or beans) from July to Mar. Also is APH your max yield? About as good as it gets for moisture in the last 2 months would seem to allow for a chance at higher yields than just APH. Give me bushels over insurance check.

Sorry but in no way is your decision a patriotic one.

hedged?  Yes.. up to 10%

hit to APH?  Wanna cash in on $7.34 wheat or $4 wheat?  I’ll take $7.34.

Carry? Insurance would pay cash.. no need to carry.. “store $$$.”

2 months of moisture.. yet we’re still in a drought (according to drought monitor) with very depleted subsoil.  Can it improve?  Yes.  Will it?  ???

not a patriot?  Bummer.
