For the record.. the first semi load is here so like a true patriotic farmer.. I’m gonna do some any way.. but in protest.

earlier..  https://talk.newagtalk.com/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=1147218&posts=44#M10609566

Say I can double my yields by applying this pass..

So adding 23 bu up to my APH.. and.. lovely we’re down again this morning.

 $5.88 - $7.34 = -$1.46 x 23 bu increase = - $33.58 in forgone lower price.

23 x 1.1 units = 25.3 units x $0.45 cost of nitrogen = - $ 11.385 cost of fertilizer

totals $44.965 / ($5.88 - 0.20 basis =) $5.68 = 7.91 bu break even or..

APH + 7.91 bu or almost 50 bu wheat breakeven before applying this pass will start to pay.. ( and 7.91 x 1.1 units = ) 8.70 x $0.45 = another $3.92 in fertilizer costs to get it there.

So has to be over 50 bushel wheat.

The only people benefiting from this are the short funds.

aaarrrgggghhh.

Oh and it’ll raise my carbon index score.. by applying synthetic fertilizers.. which someday will be as valuable as a water right.. hmmm.. ut i guess that’s not worth so much now either..
