We all have different “things” that we feel have bearings related to market movements etc.

Charts, deliveries, freight, USD etc.

How one incorporates and values those variables into their decision making process is up to them.
The dues or tuition one pays to the market is also called the learning curve..

You’re certainly welcome to decide there is a correlation between flat price and deliveries if you wish. At the same time…there is no data or history to support or financially reward that position.


I think the point is the feed yard said screw it if I can’t get a cash bid I’ll deliver the cattle, hence there really isn’t a basis/cash bid established this week.
