SC MN | Had a neighbor try that a few years ago. Those springs were “normal” meaning when we are typically wet then waiting for things to dry out. It was late may before he got in the field, everyone else had their planters washed up and put away, including the guys who made fall strips. Didn’t work well and he’s not doing it anymore. Whether it was the spring strip or delayed planting I don’t know. The past 2 years when we’ve been dry it would have worked wonderful. | |
