Cambridge, southwestern Nebraska | Well, that is a fine and dandy plan until crops were short in '21, almost nonexistent in '22, barely average in '23. This area was not able to cash in on the good years.
Oh, did I mention the price drop. I would have been better off harvesting no crops in '23 and taking the higher insurance price than harvesting while the price had already dropped.
