SCMN | Over the last year has been pretty busy for us. We have been looking to expand on our cattle side of our operation the last couple years. With labor getting harder to find and seems like making and handling bales and manure all year becoming harder to keep on top of we decided to build a slatted barn. We went with Ten Corp building and had a great experience with them for start to finish. I was lucky to have friends with dirt moving skills and were able to do most of it ourselves. At the end we did the dirt work and backfilling, water lines and running electrical underground for water heaters. So far we have it 3/4 full and couldn’t be happier. Added some odds and ends pictures of it. I’m sure I’ll get some flak for building a slatted barn instead of a bed pack but it made the most sense to my operation and we already have plenty of bed pack to start calves on before the move to slats.
