Subject: Kinze 3600 - Half width shutoffs

I know there are a handful of threads on this already, but they all seem to be pretty outdated. I know technology has jumped by leaps and bounds, but this is still relevant I think.

Here is what I have currently:

- Kinze 3600 12/23 with half width shut offs
- KPM II monitor
- JD 2600 Monitor with 6000 Globe

Here is what I want to do:

- Continue using KPM II
- I think in order to do anything else I would need to upgrade seed tubes
- Tie shut offs into JD 2600 to shut off when entering headlands/previously planted areas

1. Is this possible with what I am starting with?
2. I believe I will, at a minimum, need a JD rate controller
a. I have been told I will actually need the liquid controller, not a dry controller (GS2). Is that correct?
3. I will need swath control unlock from JD
4. What else is there that I will need?

I know that going to clutches on each row is going to be a suggestion. However, I don't think I am at that point yet.

Something else to keep in mind is that I would like to eventually tie a FAST sprayer into the same system (JD 2600 and rate controller). Do I need to upgrade to a 2630 and a Rate Controller 2000 to do this or can I do this with the 2600 and liquid rate controller (GS2)?

Thanks for any insight! I see old posts of guys saying they have done this so hopefully some of those guys see this and reply.
