are you wanting to create your own rtk network or are you planning to use an existing network? cellular or radio?
i am really into arduinos and their hardware but i think from a reliability standpoint i would track down an old trimble 750 with rtk and glonass unlocked and have a real solid system. after all the screwing around and time it takes keeping it going it would be hard to beat.
