Ag Leader, Trimble and CNH all use a Parallel North system. Flat Earth Calculation is another term. A line made near the north pole will pass directly over the north pole, and the next lines will parallel that.
Deere uses a True North system. All 0 degree lines will begin and end at the North and South poles.

Many use the term Magnetic north, but that would be a false statement since the earth's magnetic field or a classic magnet compass and calculating declination has nothing to do with a GPS system.

If you use Ag Leader SMS to handle your guidance lines, it will recalculate the lines to be as close a match as possible between systems. Another option is on your Deere system, you can use the "Non John Deere 2" calculation to create your lines if you have a Gen 3 2630 or newer display, and that will match about anybody else's system.
