SW Iowa | Trying to get updated to RTK correction for cheap finally. Going to be adding an FM 750 or 1000 with an AG25 running an EZ Pilot for our planting tracor. I understand it's not the newest setup and all that but will be an upgrade from our EZ Steer. Just trying to make sure I understand what will be needed to connect to RTK with the CORS network. I already have a login setup with the Iowa CORS network. Looks like I need to have an Android phone with cell service to use with a BT dongle/adapter and a modem? My question is what and where to find the BT dongle/adapter, what type of modem, and what cabling is needed? I'm sure I'll need help setting up the correction settings in the monitor but for now just want to make sure I am prepared on the equipment side of things. thanks. (Digifarm and other subscriptions are not a very feasible option with the scale/size of farm I have) | |
