NS Canada | The cold of the north west is a clear, sharp cold which bites the skin. But the wet cold of the east is a deep, achy cold that infects your bones too. I've lived in both for many years, and the coldest I've ever been was from being wet at around 0c, in high winds for a period of time. Though I've had frost bite out west from using bare hands to handle metal briefly.
