Subject: RE: Precision Planting Gen1 vs Gen2 Connector

Manitoba, Canada
There is a difference but even precision plantings engineers haven't been able to put their fingers on it. I had 2x gen 2's on my planter, but after installing DJ LED sensors I couldn't read my high populations consistently (lots of noise). Swapped to gen 1's and that fixed the problem.
Gen 1's have a higher voltage output, 10V I think compared to 8V? on gen 2's. Tried emulating this voltage on a gen 2 thinking it was my problem, it wasn't.
