2019 Magnum 340 Half track
- Removed a Paradyme
- Installed a Z2 ( non Can)
Before I ran a 2 wire remote engage button I installed in front of the hyd remote to enable steering, works great. With the new Z2 the extra engage does not work, the console factory button works near the arm rest, the factory button on throttle lever does not work.
With the new z2 kit is there not a way to use a remote engage switch other than the factory one? There is a connector for a remote engage on Z2 wiring but after about a hour messing around I am assuming that you can not use anything other than the factory one. Can any one confirm this? Or does it truly need to be a 3 wire switch?
Did you enable Remote Engage in the settings?
Z2 uses the same 2-wire switch as all legacy systems. Uses the same 4-pin connector, pins 1 & 4 need to make contact.
Existing switches and foot pedals should work as-is.
There is also an adaptor to use the factory remote engage button. PN: 4007137-8 - $88
