East of Broken Bow | I have a Chef's choice. Probably the best electric sharpener I have used, but not the same as hand sharpening with the proper stones. For the record I have never seen an electric sharpener that would match stones, but the Chef's Choice gives a good working edge, does it fairly quickly, and doesn't eat away at your blade as much as some electric sharpeners do.
For hand hones, hard to beat the Lansky if you truly want a wickedly sharp blade. Not speedy, but if done right will get a good quality knife amazingly sharp. | |
