This is the traditional method of raising poultry, either free range or fed skim milk along with the pigs, and all the corn they'll eat. Before soybean meal became popular, chicken was more expensive than beef because grass was cheaper protein than anything you could grow to feed chickens.

How many we talking about, and what else do you have available? If we're talking about thousands, and you're planning to raise your own grains, then we need to know where you are to know what you can grow.
