| Number one thing is to wear wool socks, I try to wear them year round. They even have wool blended compression socks if needed. Only way to keep feet warm is to wick moisture away. Better to have boots with leather tops. Next choice is the neoprene type boots like mucks. But need to dry them on boot dryer nightly and change pairs every other day.
My sons all like Dryshod, I've never tried them. I saw Amazon had a pair of HISEA neoprene boots, I got one pair of them in green tops for 36 bucks. Not much insulation in them, thought the tops had more room in them. Figured for the money, see how long they last. I wore my heavy wool socks with them got along ok, but I don't think they'll last a year. | |
