Subject: Brain fructose and dementia

Pittsburg, Kansas

This is a deep dive. This guy is a medical student (third year if I recall correctly) but also is already a PHD. He gives short synopsis of research papers. Here he talks about fructose in the brain that the brain creates itself when the body has too high of blood glucose levels (like a diabetic would have). This appears to be bad for cognition. The good news is he keeps his presentations short. The bad news is they are often very technical. Not for everyone, but for those that like the technical side of health issues he has some interesting stuff. His name is Nicholas Norwitz.
