How will the purchase of Trimble by Agco effect CNH and Trimble?

My opinion is, it only has one way to go, and that is better. Trimble used to be the best, now it's in the dust and has some catching up to do. But with AGCO on their side, they could devote some major resources to it and be a real competitor to AgLeader and John Deere in a couple years.

That's exactly what I think too!!!

Claas uses Trimble in their Auto Pilot, so a cooperation with AGCO-Claas would not be out of the realm.
But eventually CNH will have to find a new supplier. Trimble will support what's out there for a while (how long is the "While" who knows)
