How will the purchase of Trimble by Agco effect CNH and Trimble?

Depends on who you ask. A magazine article I just read, it will not change anything. The AMS guy at my local Case dealer says it won't change anything we already have for a long time simply because their is enough equipment out there, it would be wrong to abandon it.
My opinion is, it only has one way to go, and that is better. Trimble used to be the best, now it's in the dust and has some catching up to do. But with AGCO on their side, they could devote some major resources to it and be a real competitor to AgLeader and John Deere in a couple years.
