Yep , cleaning up some stuff in my Mom's house and a pic of my parents wedding in 1949 with my Grandparents in it. I asked 12 yr. old grandson "how old do u think my Grandparents were then" . He says 90? Actually they were 63 & 59 but looked skinny and underfed.Mom looks better at 94 than they did then..They had just got electric power in '49 and then running water and indoor plumbing in 1959. FF, F & me all attended same 1 room school, 1 teacher , no buses and we survived

So informative to ask the older then us generation about life back then
