Took in a few bred ewes since some of our calf barns are sitting empty currently. doing a "sheep proofing" on a couple of the pens before lambing. HAS to be temporary as the barns main purpose is calves... we basically have Sturdy-Bilt style barns with a front concrete apron, so we can feed on that or in the pens themselves (12x24 each, or 24x24 with dividers out). Thought was to take off the 12' gate on front of each pen and fashion some sort of fenceline feed space with either boards or some guardrail. looking for dimensions needed on doing this (bottom rail height, space to next bar etc) Please help, first time lambing in a barn...we had sheep several years ago in TX but that was a pasture / open range affair.

These should help:
https://www.ontario.ca/page/low-labour-feeding-systems-and-bunk-desi...
https://files.ontario.ca/omafra-feeding-systems-for-sheep-22-001-en-...

These are a couple docs that are not bad.

(Any other docs anyone else knows of? (Always looking for ideas!))
