Subject: Keeping full time employees busy with winter side hustles?

Hi all

Just curious what people are doing to keep there full time guys busy all winter?

We don’t want to lay off any of our full time guys for the winter. They work hard all year long and they like to keep working all winter. They are great guys. We used to run a older fleet of equipment so was lots of work in the shop. But everything has been so well maintained because of this there isn’t much to do anymore.

I want to find some “side hustles” the farm can do to keep the guys busy

Was thinking they can do some snow removal but in this neck of the woods it doesn’t snow that much.

Any ideas? What are you guys doing?

I’m also not around all the time as I’m a full time agronomist and seed seller
