Just install a Linux distro and ditch Microsoft completely. That's fine for those who know computers but for a multitude of people it's not a viable solution. The way to turn off the "feature" can be found but even that is probably beyond many. First it was licensing, now this. It's pervasive, soon you won't really own anything. You can't fix your own car, machinery or computer system. I wonder how long until you'll be barred from installing an alternate system on you computer by some modification to the chips? |
