I'm a little late to this question, but I've had good luck with a Netgear Powerline 1200. It consists of 2 devices that will plug into a 110 volt outlet. Simply plug an ethernet cable from your router into this device and plug it into a wall socket. It uses your home wiring to transmit internet to the other device. The one requirement is that the electrical service must connect between the 2 buildings (on the same power supply). You could then install a wireless router or simply plug a laptop, etc. into the ethernet port on the receiving end.
