I was diagnosed about 15 years ago. I tried several drugs including Lyrica and Cymbalta until they finally gave me gabapentin. It took over a year to get the dosage up to where it was working somewhat. I really notice it when I forget to take it. I was told there were very few side affects. I think that was a lie.
