First thing I do on a new computer is uninstall any nag-ware. Antivirus is usually is the first to go. Defender is the only antivirus needed. Most to the bloatware on a new computer is installed by the manufacturer. The manufacturer are paid to include the bloat by companies looking to sell subscriptions. I don’t agree with some of the things on the redit list. Don’t change any security setting you don’t understand. Optional updates are usually bios updates to fix security issues.
