Under the hood windows 11 is window10. 11 has some changes in the user interface that some don't like. 11 has some added features and better security.

The computer I'm using to post this reply is a dell latitude form 2017 that isn't on Microsoft's approve windows 11 list. I've been using this laptop daily with Windows 11  for 3 years without a hitch.

I think the reply above is spot on. If you don't like change don't upgrade. If you don't mind change 11 is incrementally better and has better security.
