Grundy County, IL | Neighbor had triple bypass surgery about 10 years ago (age 65ish) and ever since has had at least 1 mini-stroke a year (doctor diagnosed). I wouldn't know it seeing him as often as I do but he said each time it happens he comes out a touch weaker. He claims staying active into his 70s has probably kept him alive. Make sure the doctor checks your wife out real good and get a second opinion if you think it's necessary.
