To show he difference in areas/ countries.
Here we never spay a cat. If we are going to have cats they need to produce lots of kittens.
If we get more than a few hanging around we get hawks, eagles and owls flying overhead. Once the cats get used to watching overhead and staying under stuff, the foxes, coyotes and coons start to thin them down.
