I mostly leave desserts alone these days-Thanks John Burns as I feel great, but------ In my growing up years, we'd visit my paternal grandparents on Friday nights. Before going home, Grandma would get out the homemade angel food cake. A slice of that cake, a dip of "Hull " brand vanilla ice cream and raspberries over it all! Heaven on earth, folks!
