And NO, one flush is not enough, not even close, when changing crops.
But before you even get to that, you should be rinsing out at the end of every day before you leave the last field of the day:
Plan your load to come out even when finishing last field.
When empty, stop and run clean water from rinse tank through the tank rinse nozzles inside your product tank. (If you don't have this equipment, get it.)
Add Dawn and no-foam to product tank and agitate.
Stop agitation and Spray this out through booms.
Do this procedure at least twice, three times when switching crops.
It is better to rinse multiple time with smaller amounts of water (3x30 gallons) than once with a huge amount (150 gal or more).
When switching crops, after triple rinse, clean filters, open end caps on boom sections and flush.
NEVER LET PRODUCT SIT OVERNIGHT IN THE SPRAYER!
ALWAYS RINSE OUT AT THE END OF THE DAY!
ALWAYS USE DAWN IN EVERY LOAD! | |
