Indiana | I have 42 panels on my barn installed in 2017. I bascially get 2 or 3 bills a year Jan, feb and maybe a small bill in Mar. the panels supply the rest of my needs for the house and barn. 5600 sq ft house all electric. When I produce more than I use it goes back to the grid and my meter runs backwards. Might check state laws to see if ur get what’s called “net metering”. This solar companies should be able to tell you and run a projected pay back for ur investment. For me it was about 4 yrs.
The inverter is warranted for 12 yrs and the panels for 20.
