EC IL
Those are the two companies we had quoted 3 years ago.
Ended up going with Tick Tock and it was NOT the right decision.
Cooperator used harvest solar and it also didn't seem as clean and simple as it should have been. If I was doing more I'd start looking at other companies... but might settle for harvest...not Tick tock ever again.

Solar was a no brainer for us. 10kw for $33k? Pre covid.
-27% tax credit yr 1.
-SRECS paid about 50% within one year(15k?)
-Depreciation on it over 5-7yrs for "farm solar"
NRCS? Grant failed to get any funding.
-about $100/mo savings?...Haven't really calculated it.

Kept it at 10kw so we could net meter with our co-op. More than 10kw you're considered commercial and it's was use it or lose it. I know Ameren has no such limits? We're home at night using more power than at peak of the day so net metering was important.

On Tick Tock I can go into a huge rant but basically all talk and poor follow through. Lots of tiny annoyances that all added up to a bad experience. On Harvest solar their 4+ quotes over the decision and planning process were always different SRECs and different panels and too much salesman for me. "Our panels are the best!"...um...no...I'm looking at the stats sheet...
