You are correct. This spring is nothing like 1983. However, it seems to be a very strange pattern. Very low humidity for a long stretch in May and that's with warm temperatures. This is about the earliest I have ever had the yard dry up. If the pattern flips to a wetter one mid June, like Snodgrass is thinking, then this could very well be a very high yielding crop. I'm suspicious of that happening.
