south texas
I'm putting together an nta855a right now, just did the acc drive.

If u remove the acc drive, set the pully to one of the timing marks or make your own. Acc drive rotates at the same speed as the crank shaft. In the A position and #1 just past TDC, the cam and acc drive gears should have a mark on each that line up. This doesn't matter as long as u get the pully back in the same position as it was removed.

There is 1 thrust washer and one plane washer on the pump side of the acc drive, you can't check the end play with the fuel pump drive coupler removed, it holds the acc drive in place. Get a new on and install. The thrust washer plain side goes towards the housing and the "grooved" side goes towards the plain washer then the fuel pump coupler. U maybe able to use some longer bolts to pull the fuel pump coupler into position.

Get a quick serv account and u can look up parts and have tech manuals for free. Just need esn.

Email is good
