How deep did you drive the ground posts? Might not be deep enough if only a couple feet. Get one down 5' is my rule of thumb.
How much did you soak the ground with water? Drench it again, like a lot, not 5 or 10 gallons.
I suspect a bad ground if it improved at all with water you put on it.
